Job Description:
As a Firewood Production and Yard Assistant, you will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring the efficient production and management of firewood products. Your responsibilities will include:
* Operating machinery such as telehandlers, forklifts, and chainsaws to process and move firewood materials.
* Assisting in the production process, including cutting, splitting, and stacking firewood.
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in the yard.
* Loading and unloading vehicles with firewood products.
* Adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
* A full driving license is essential for this position.
* Physical fitness and strength to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
* Ideally, previous experience in operating machinery such as telehandlers, forklifts, and chainsaws however full training will be given.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards work.
