English Teacher - Newport
TeacherActive is currently working with a fantastic school in the Newport area, searching for a skilled and passionate English Teacher to join their warm and welcoming team.
We are seeking an attentive, supportive, and enthusiastic English Teacher who can motivate students to learn and achieve in the classroom. The role may also involve managing challenging behaviours and working with students with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). Therefore, exceptional classroom management skills, as well as a kind, caring, and patient demeanour, are crucial for success.
This full-time position will commence ASAP and offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. A Teaching Qualification is required, and an English specialisation is highly desirable.
Key skills and competencies for this role include:
• A Teaching Qualification and/or at least six months of experience working with children
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• A calm, caring, and patient demeanour
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment
