Job Title: Shop Manager (Take-Away Food Shop)
Location: Onsite
Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum
Are you passionate about the food industry and skilled in managing operations to ensure exceptional service and profitability? We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Shop Manager for our thriving take-away food business.
About the Role:
As the Shop Manager, you will be the driving force behind our daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning and delivering outstanding customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
Personnel Management: Assisting in the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff to maintain a high standard of service and efficiency.
Scheduling: Coordinating staff schedules and shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while optimizing labor costs.
Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and ordering supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Order Fulfillment: Overseeing orders placed through various platforms such as Just Eat, Uber Eats, and Deliveroo, ensuring timely preparation and delivery.
Financial Management: Monitoring cash flow, conducting end-of-day cash reconciliation, and preparing financial reports to track sales performance and profitability.
Menu Enhancement: Providing recommendations for menu enhancements and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to maintain positive relationships and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
Reporting: Generating reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and other relevant statistics to inform decision-making processes.
Customer Service: Addressing customer inquiries, complaints, and refund requests promptly and professionally to maintain customer satisfaction.
Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards including licensing, health, safety, and hygiene protocols to uphold the reputation and integrity of the business.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in a similar managerial role within the food industry.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in inventory management and financial reporting.
Sound knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards.
Effective communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
