What does this Care Assistant job involve?
Hours of Work: Up to Full Time Hours - Shifts: Between 07:00 - 22:00 - Flexible Provider
Some general responsibilities:
Provide personal care and emotional support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities and medication management
Build meaningful relationships with clients and provide companionship and socialisation
Accompany clients to appointments and on outings
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Communicate with healthcare professionals and family members as needed
Document daily activities and any changes in the client's health or behaviour in the client's care plan
Am I the right person for this Care Assistant job?
Be eligible to work in the UK
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
This role requires a successful DBS check
A calm and caring manner
Good written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience in caregiving or related field is preferred but not essential as training will be provided to the right candidate
Compassionate and patient personality with a positive attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and follow directions
