Summary
Vibe Recruit are working with a well-established manufacturing company within the Bridgend area. We are currently looking for an experienced toolmaker who has previously worked with sheet metal. Initially this will be a temporary role with the potential of a permanent role for the right candidate.
Role
- Provide tool repairs as directed.
- Provide tool and equipment maintenance as directed.
- Ensure completion of relevant paperwork.
- Undertake fault analysis when required.
- Undertake arc welding tasks as required.
- Ensure the completion of re-drawing in a timely manner.
- Follow health and safety rules and responsibilities.
Requirement
- Ability to understand engineering drawings.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings.
- Experience prepping and finishing of sheet metal products.
- Ability to set up and operator various metal processing machines.
- Experience with a verity of welding processes.
- Experience as a tool maker.
- Experience with numerical control machines.
- Experience within a workshop environment.
Schedule
- Mornings, 6am - 2pm (Monday to Friday) Paid at £15.96
- Afternoons, 2pm - 10pm (Monday to Friday) Paid at £17.12
Overtime is also available.
