Summary

Care Assistant/Night Care Assistant/Bank - various hours available (morning shifts, afternoon shifts, 12 hour shifts, 5-10pm twilight shifts) to include alternate weekends

Days: £11.66-£12.16ph new to care, rising to £11.93-£12.43ph after completion of 3 month probation. £11.93-£12.43ph with care experience

Nights: £11.66-£12.16ph new to care, rising to £12.13-£12.63ph after completion of 3 month probation. £12.13-£12.63ph with care experience

As a Care Assistant at Coppelia House in Moretonhampstead, you will work as part of a team to provide the best care for the people living in our homes and be a part of the next chapter in their story.

You will get to know them and what matters the most to them so you can support them in the best way possible, recognising their individual choice.

You will support them with daily living routines including personal care, offer emotional support, encourage social activities within the home and update care plans.

Every day is different and hard work is required, but each day, you will go home knowing you have made a difference to their lives.

You don’t need experience as we provide online training, along with face to face support, supervision and a full induction. As soon as you achieve your care certificate we’ll also support you further to progress within the home if this is something you wish to do.

What you need most of all is a desire to help, to be kind and to enjoy making someone’s day that little bit easier.

Covid-19 Vaccination

On 22 July 2021, the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) (Coronavirus) Regulations 2021 (the “Regulations”) became law, introducing a requirement for all care home staff to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

As a result, all people who enter a care home, regardless of their role, must be vaccinated before they start work, unless they are exempt.
