Summary
The post holder will be responsible for the clinical management of patients under their care, and, in liaison with consultant colleagues, continuity of care when the post holder is absent. Diagnosis and management of older patients presenting to the Trust with a wide range of conditions. Continuing responsibility for the care of patients in liaison with Consultant colleagues. Additional speciality interest time as per candidate (subject to agreement with clinical lead after appointment, e.g. movement disorders, surgical liaison, orthogeriatrics, community, falls, dementia) amounting to approximately 2 clinical sessions. Outpatient clinics: as per subspecialty interest, typically 1 week
