Crynodeb
Undertakes on call as and when necessary Competent administering safe infiltration of local anaesthetic. Maintains a SFA clinical and professional portfolio. Completion of practice supervisor and assessor preparation. Experience in mentorship of students across the MDST. Assist with the orientation of new members of staff andprovideongoing support andmentorship. Ensure all mandatory and statutory training is up to date. Knowledge and skills across the continuum of surgical modalities from conventional to minimal invasive and robotics. Demonstrated knowledge and application of workplace health and safety, clinical governance and risk identification. Ability to report and contribute to adverse event investigations. Completion of SFA specific competencies. The post holder will be expected to contribute to the ongoing development of perioperative nursing, ODP students and recent graduates within theatres, also above clinical and educational support.
