Summary

You will work in the service for three days of the week using your newly developed skills whilst attending the training programme for the other two days. The course start date will be 17th September 2024 with a service start date w/c 9th September 2024. This cohort will be attending University of Reading in person for their training days and will be expected to work from their work base one day a week. The rest of your working days will be completed remotely from home. Work base: This post is for positions within EAST and WEST Berkshire. For EAST Berkshire your work base will be in either Bracknell, Maidenhead or Slough. For WEST Berkshire your work base will be in Newbury, Reading or Wokingham. Previous applicants need not apply. Working pattern + Service operating hours: Monday to Thursday 8am 8pm and Friday 8am 5pm. You will work 3 days a week in the service. Upon qualification 1 of your working days will be a late shift (12-8pm). Detailed job description and main responsibilities The 3 must haves for you to be considered for this role: Relevant Honours Degree (e.g. psychology, mental health, etc.) graded at 2.2 or above Core profession as defined by the BABCP.
