Summary

Job title: Senior BIM & Digital Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 months
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: Competitive Rate
Location: Devonport
Hours of work: 35 hours Mon-Friday
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- A design and construction background
- HNC, Diploma or Degree in civils, structural or architectural engineering
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards
- Min 5 years design and construction experience
- Full project lifecycle experience
- Able to follow delivery execution plans

Role information:

- Provide BIM support to the project
- Produce high quality objects that are suitable for the native authoring platforms
- Apply BIM authoring standards highlighted in the Business Unit Project Information standards
- Ensure the project team meets the BIM level 2 standards
- Work alongside the Digital Library coordinator to ensure modelling objects reside within the project and within the MIP Digital Library
- Produce high quality BIM models and drawings as specified to the works packages
- Ensure design issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Report on modelling issues
