Summary
Warehouse Operative | Bristol | Hours of work will be 8.30am – 5.30 pm Monday to Friday with the potential for overtime | Salary will be negotiable depending on age, experience and other transferable skills – base salary £24,440 per annum / £11.75 per hour
Incepted in 1996, our client is an independent freight forwarder and warehouse provider based in the South West of England that offers logistic solutions for worldwide cargo movements and a warehouse pick/pack fulfilment service.
The employer is looking for someone who is positive, has a sense of humour, is happy to muck in with their colleagues and doesn’t mind hard work and working under pressure and working to deadlines.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Previous experience gained from working in a warehouse is preferred
• Good customer service skills an advantage
• Hardworking
• Fit and the ability to lift 25 kilos
• Needs to be literate, numerate and trustworthy
• Good communication skills
• A forklift licence would be an advantage
What will your role look like?
• Locating goods into stock
• Picking and packing orders
• Preparing goods for despatch
• Unloading and loading of vehicles and containers
• Stocktakes
