Summary
We are seeking a pleasant person to join our admin and care navigation team as an Admin Data Clerk and Care Navigator on a full-time basis.
The ideal candidate must be flexible and able to work under pressure dealing with the general public. Computer literacy and multi-tasking are essential and experience with SystmOne clinical system is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of duties as part of a team, some examples below:
• Ensure that all patients and visitors at reception and telephone callers to the practice are greeted professionally and politely.
• Answer all incoming phone calls from patients and other healthcare professionals. Divert them as appropriate, and/or take and pass on messages.
• Deal with administrative queries and requests from patients and act as liaison with the clinicians as necessary.
• Reviewing medical records of new patients, inputting and summarising medical history as requested.
• Communication received, read coding medical data into clinical system and computerised medical record of patient.
• Take part in practice performance related to recalls for patients. This will include maintaining an up to date register and working on improvement.
In addition to the contracted hours per week, they maybe required to work additional hours as necessary to provide cover for other team members when they are on leave.
The surgery is staffed from 8am to 6.45pm Monday-Friday.

We are an enthusiastic friendly practice with over 9500 patients and use SystmOne clinical system. Our premises are purpose built, well-equipped with a friendly working environment and a supportive admin team.
