Summary
Your new school Hays is the UK's largest specialist recruitment agency on the NPS framework as a preferred supplier for all local authorities in South Wales. I am currently working with a school in Cardiff to recruit for a Physical Education Teacher job. The school encourages the pupils to take a proactive and creative approach to learning to allow them to develop. The leadership team have a clear vision for the school and communicate it very well to create an inclusive ethos and a strong community feeling.
Your new roleYou will work as a part of a large department and will be responsible for teaching a timetable of mixed ability KS3, KS4 and KS5 PE classes on a full-time basis. This job will include a mixture of both practical lessons and theory lessons. You will be responsible for full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, assessing work.
What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified teacher, and you will have previous experience of delivering Physical Education theory and practical within a secondary school. You will have a passion for learning and have a strong track record of helping pupils to achieve results. You will also possess strong behaviour and classroom management skills. You share a commitment to safeguarding and hold a DBS check.
