A popular Secondary school based in Rhondda Cynon Taf is seeking an enthusiastic PE teacher to contribute to the overall success of the school. This role requires teaching all year groups within the secondary range. The school is highly regarded for its student progress and supportive staff culture. This is a temporary to permanent position.
The successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to uphold the school's ethos by providing excellent teaching, supporting students' overall development through exceptional pastoral care, and being involved in the school's extra-curricular programme.
The ideal PE teacher candidate will possess:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a range of coaching qualifications and a relevant higher-level diploma;
• Experience in sports coaching and/or education sector;
• The ability to deliver high-quality sport and physical activity sessions according to the National Curriculum;
• Knowledge and understanding of effective student behaviour management and the ability to implement strategies.
