Summary
Are you an experienced telehandler based around the Hamilton area seeking your next role? We have an excellent opportunity for you to work on a short-term basis!
Role Overview:
As a telehandler operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe movement of materials and equipment around our construction site. You will be responsible for operating the telehandler to lift, move, and position heavy materials, assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the telehandler to lift, transport, and position materials as required.
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Assist with the organization and maintenance of the construction site.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the telehandler to ensure it remains in good working condition.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a telehandler operator in a construction setting.
- Valid CPCS telehandler certification.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
- Ability to operate the telehandler safely and efficiently in various weather conditions and terrain.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Full UK driving licence.
