We are recruiting for an Theatre Support Worker to our multi-disciplinary team who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and highly motivated Healthcare Assistant to join our team.

We are looking for individuals with excellent interpersonal skills who can demonstrate their ability to work closely within the team to ensure a high standard of care is delivered to every patient in our departments.

You may be an experienced Healthcare Assistant seeking a new challenge and wanting to seek professional development within the theatre departments.

We pride ourselves in delivering high quality care whilst working to the increased demands of our departments and Business Unit.

As a Healthcare Assistant within the theatre environment your responsibilities will include self-motivation; taking part in clinical audit; the safe passage of patients through theatres; listening to the concerns and anxieties of the patients and escalating to the appropriate person in your department; maintaining education and acting as a role model to others.

The department focuses on theatre activity and works with the whole hospital team to ensure patient care and safety is always maintained.

We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant who is adaptable to the demands of our busy department and able to work flexibly to cover a full range of duties including on-call, evenings, and weekends.

The successful applicant will be motivated and keen to share learning with the team and always deliver excellent patient care.

You will be encouraged to develop your skills and we will ensure you undertake professional development.

The successful applicant will mainly be based with the Main theatres team, although flexibility across all theatres will be required, and will be rostered to work as part of the theatre on-call rota.

This post offers many opportunities through on-going education and development that is supported by our own Practice Development Lead.
