Support Worker
Oswestry, Shropshire

Full time hours available
This service is 9am-5pm community access weekdays only with ad-hoc weekends.
Drivers with own car essential due to the location of our services.
Candidates will need business insurance as the package is community access and the service user uses staff cars to go out and about.

We are looking for Support Workers to support a lady in the Oswestry area. This role has a large aspect of community work where you will be out and about in the community supporting this lady. She enjoys walking, going to farms and zoos, horse riding, cafes and lunch out, bowling, shopping etc. This role only requires shifts on weekdays 9am-5pm with some ad-hoc weekends.

It would be very beneficial if the successful candidate had experience with people who are non-verbal and using Makaton is preferred, but we can provide training for this of course. Also, to have experience supporting people with autism and behaviors that challenge.

Supporting our people to be engaged in all day-to-day living activities, including making full use of their community and beyond.

Supporting the management of our people’s finances.
Keeping our people’s home clean and fresh, and going shopping.
