Our client is a special organisation dedicated to providing expert veterinary care to individuals across the UK who might otherwise be unable to afford treatment for their beloved pets. They take immense pride in their mission, as they firmly believe that what they do truly matters.
They are seeking qualified Vets who are passionate about making a difference. As a Veterinary Surgeon at their small animal hospital in South London, you will face a diverse range of cases and challenges. Your ability to adapt and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients from all walks of life is essential. They value individuals who are eager to share their skills, lead by example, and champion their cause.
The hospital is located in the vibrant South East London area, just five minutes away from London Bridge. Our client is known for their friendly, cohesive team that genuinely enjoys working and socialising together. Their state-of-the-art facility includes six consulting rooms, two dedicated theatres (orthopaedic and soft-tissue), a spacious prep area, an imaging suite equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy, extensive orthopaedic equipment, and feline, canine, and isolation kennel wards.
The team comprises individuals with varying levels of experience, including six Veterinary Surgeons, nine Veterinary Nurses, three Veterinary Care Assistants, and a Head Nurse. Their primary goal is to provide exceptional customer service while taking a pragmatic approach to cases. They handle a high surgical and medical caseload in their busy hospital.
Your passion will drive you to champion the charity's cause, encourage client contributions, and continuously seek ways to enhance efficiency. The work is fast-paced and challenging, and our client understands the importance of work-life balance to support you in delivering an outstanding service.
The Rota:
• Full time role - 37.5 hours per week
• Flexible working options available
The Benefits:
• Generous salary from £41,200 to £59,000
• CPD Allowance of one week and £1000 per year
• Full RCVS fees
• 25 days annual leave (excluding Bank Holidays)
• Option to buy and sell up to 5 days per year
• Pension scheme
