UWE’s Apprenticeship Hub is a team of sector professionals who support the quality and compliance of UWE’s apprenticeship programmes, ensuring that employers, apprentices, and stakeholders receive excellent service and that programmes meet regulatory standards. We are a close-knit team with a strong commitment to collaboration, support, and colleague development.

Your role will be varied, with a focus on administrative processes and customer service. You will develop new skills and gain a range of experience in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day tasks will include telephone and email management, creation and adjustment of student records in the apprenticeship management system (Aptem), supporting colleagues, employers and applicants through the Apprenticeship onboarding process and working with Apprenticeship managers and Officers to undertake audit-related activity.

You will also contribute to the team’s planning and quality cycles, attend team meetings, and undertake formal and informal training and development activities.

About you: Good communication and teamwork skills are vital for this role. You will demonstrate familiarity with a range of administrative tasks and a clear commitment to excellent customer service. You will also need some understanding of English apprenticeships and their regulations, including Education & Skills Funding Agency funding compliance and Ofsted quality assurance.

The university particularly welcomes applicants with up-to-date knowledge of Apprenticeship management systems.
