Summary

Exciting Career Opportunity for Lead Technician in Ipswich .

Purpose of the job :

The position holder will be part of the client restoration team , as such, will have the responsibility for the joint delivery of end to end projects as well as complexed drying and fire restoration works. The role of the Lead Technician is site based (possibly with the requirement to overview multi sites) The role will encompass the on site delivery of tasks that form part of claims solution completed within agreed timescales in line with the sales and cost element for this work . You will be the 1st response to any claim, securing the works with a proactive approach, with a view to reducing claims lifecycle.

Key Responsibilites :

• Respond to jobs within customer contractual SLA’s.
• Deliver drying and fire restoration services to the highest standard, in line with client training.
• Using the control measures detailed in the risk assessments and following the procedures outlined in the method statements, ensure that a safe system of work is maintained at all times throughout the duration of the contract.
• Action any non-conformance and compliance issues raised within the agreed timeframes, set out by the Field Manager
• Actively participate in emergency call out Rota (including night-time, weekends and bank holidays).
• Agree to accept, and then be personally responsible for (including the cleanliness and functioning) all issued equipment detailed on the equipment schedule.
• Carry out visual inspections of workmanship on site, and make sure that milestones agreed with your contracts manager and met.
• Ensure all calibration of equipment is within date at all times
• Responsible for management of any temporary labour , ensuring they adhere to client site rules and procedures, and ensuring work is completed to agreed standard, and in professional manner.
• Any other reasonable management request
