Barnsley College are looking for a new Recruitment Officer to join our staff elected winning team of the year!
This post is a fixed term role to support us throughout a period of maternity cover. Our new Recruitment Officer will join a close-knit team and play a vital role in supporting the wider HR function. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody looking to gain experience in a busy Human Resources department, or for someone with existing knowledge looking to increase their skillset.

The Recruitment team are proactive, approachable and exceptionally hard-working, valuing the importance of making the right appointments across all roles within the organisation. We are looking for a Recruitment Admin Officer that shares this ethos, to support us during a Maternity cover contract.
Main duties include:Administration of all aspects of the College’s recruitment process
Maintain and update the analysis and onboarding spreadsheets, vacancy checklists and Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Pro-actively advise hiring managers on advertising, interviews and appointments ensuring that all relevant procedures are followed
Monitor and manage the new starter process
Provide regular progress updates on advertisement campaigns to key internal stakeholders
Undertake relevant training as required
Promote College culture, core values and a positive team environment
