Summary

Administration & Organisation Assistant The governors of this successful 11 -18 school, wish to appoint suitably qualified and experienced administrator to work in the school office.
POST TITLE: Administration & Organisation Assistant Level 3 - SIMS SALARY: Grade 5, scp 5–7 (£24,294-£25,199 pro rata)(The salary stated will be subject to a term time only adjustment for the commencement of employment outside of the start date of 1st September) HOURS OF WORK: 34.5 hours/week – 8.30am–4.30pm (4pm on Friday) Term Time only, to include a 1 hour unpaid lunch break
We are seeking a highly skilled colleague who has proven experience of working in a busy office environment. We are looking for qualities, skills and experience to include: • Some experience/knowledge of SIMS (or other school information system) is preferable • Excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills • The ability to work effectively under pressure; • The ability to work well within a team; • Excellent interpersonal skills; • Energy, enthusiasm, patience and a sense of humour.
The applicant will be required to: 1. Take lead role in the management and administration of record/information systems (SIMS). 2. Provide detailed analysis and evaluation of data and produce detailed reports/information as required. 3. Produce statistical reports from SIMS as requested 4. Process and produce pupil assessment and monitoring data e.g. reports to parents 5. Administration of pre-admission process and Year 12 enrolment 6. Assist with timetabling administration 7. Provide support to SIMS manager (Assistant Head) on timetabling issues 8. Provide reception and general office duties 9. Respond to staff enquiries 10. General word processing, photocopying and filing 11. Any other duties of similar level of responsibility as deemed appropriate by the Headteacher
