OM Soft Solutions is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer, who will be responsible for process integration, application development, deployment, and enhancement for Salesforce platform with an object-oriented architecture, SaaS product or Service that enhances support productivity and customer experience. The successful candidate will be an integral member of our Integration and Cloud Solutions Team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provide expert advice on the Salesforce platform and develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives.
• Developing new code for project-related deliverables, completion of code-dependent actions and configuration with a high degree of efficiency and quality.
• Manage daily support and maintenance of our Salesforce instance and conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving mission requirements.
• Participate in project team meetings and communicate effectively with business and technical team members.
• Interact directly with product owners and agile delivery team to analyse project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications, and interactions with internal Salesforce instances.
• Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully.
• Provide system administration support, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects, and workflow.
• Collaborate with various internal departments, including marketing, product development and operations, to ensure Salesforce environment supports internal needs relating to functionality and performance.
• Design and create application architecture and develop solutions that achieve the customer's objectives that are secure, scalable, and maintainable; translate business requirements into systems, services, and solutions, implement automation to improve processes.
• Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and corresponding documentation and provide new functionalities and solutions as needed.
• Strong documentation skills with attention to detail and clear communication skills
Skills Required:
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, custom development using Apex. AURA and LWC (Lightning Web Components).
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ applications, including product rules, price rules, and dynamic options.
• Experience with designing, modelling, and engineering the underlying SFDC data model to ensure data integrity and quality.
• User Interface experience using Salesforce Visual Force, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Lightning, Java / J2EE, jQuery, Angular JS, Data Migration Tools.
• Experience with REST and BULK API, WSDL, SOAP APIs (XML, JSON)
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications via real time and batch process (sync/async)
• Experience with SOSL and SOQL, Salesforce.com's Web Services and APIs, and the Salesforce Security model, Process Analysis, Workflows, Page Layouts, Roles, Profiles, Reports, & Dashboards
• Experience in designing test strategies to ensure adequate quality (e.g., code coverage; application behaviours; scalability environment independence) across Apex classes, triggers and controllers.
• Experience working in an Agile environment involving sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint demos and retrospectives.
• A highly committed individual with a background in a problem solving, operations environment.
• Ability to participate and provide inputs that help in continuous improvements from a development process standpoint.
• Must have strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills required, including project management capability.
• Good understanding of Salesforce Governor limits and best practices
• Knowledge of source control management tools such as GIT, CVS.
• Knowledge on Vlocity is a big plus.
• Candidates with Salesforce Platform certification is preferred.
Education Required:
Applicants must be graduated to S/NQF6 (Degree Level) or above or a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics / Science, Arts, Engineering or Business Administration.
