Key Responsibilities of the English/Media Specialist Teacher:

• Design and implement comprehensive English language and media curriculum across various grade levels, incorporating innovative teaching methods and best practices.
• Create engaging lesson plans, activities, and assessments tailored to diverse learning styles to enhance student participation and achievement.
• Utilize technology and multimedia resources effectively to enrich teaching and learning experiences.
• Cultivate a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging student expression, collaboration, and exploration of interests.
• Offer timely and constructive feedback to students to foster their English language proficiency and media literacy skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community stakeholders to ensure student success and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on current trends, research, and advancements in English language teaching, media studies, and educational technology.

Applicant Requirements of the English/Media Specialist Teacher:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
• Demonstrated experience teaching English language arts or media studies at the secondary level.
