Summary

NEW Assistant: RHWM Opportunity in Cumnock (Excellent Hours and No Late Shifts)



We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our Warrick & Glebe Court team in Cumnock on a casual basis.



Warrick Court & Glebe Court provides a Retirement Housing with Meals Service to tenants, aged 50 and over, who wish to retain their independence but also want to benefit from leaving the worries of repairs, looking after the garden and making their meals each day to someone else.



Warrick Court & Glebe Court is conveniently located in Cumnock, with numerous bus links, shops and cafes all within 5-10 minute walk away.



The Role

You will be responsible for undertaking a range of duties to ensure that internal communal areas are clean, hygienic and meet the standards expected by our tenants and visitors to the development. You will also assist by preparing the dining room for mealtimes, heating prepared meals and delivering them to tenants.

On occasion, the Assistant will be expected to clean vacant flats and/ or external pathways of the development and provide general and emergency assistance to tenants, as required. In addition you will respond to property emergencies, taking appropriate action when the Manager is off duty and providing cover for the development office as required.


Role Requirements

- Experience of a similar type of role would be an advantage but is not an essential requirement as training will be provided.

- You should bring to the role a genuine interest in working with older people and an ability to respond calmly to requests for assistance.
