Your new company
Secondary School based in Croydon, South London are looking for a strong and experienced teacher of English who can deliver lessons to KS4/KS5. You must have QTS in Secondary English for this role and SEN experience would be very beneficial. You will have the opportunity to work with an already highly reputable SEN school and join a well-organised team. This position is to start immediately on a temporary ongoing basis and last until the end of the Academic year.
Your new role
Starting asap, you will be responsible for teaching English KS3 - KS4. As this is a long-term assignment, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, as well as completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils' work, ensuring all pupils are progressing well within the classroom.This role will also require you to ensure all behaviour is appropriate, and that pupils are achieving to the best of their ability. As this is a long-term position, you will also be required to attend parents' evenings and other school functions.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have experience of teaching English across secondary schools in the UK. You must be available to start ASAP and be able to work through to July 2024, with a real passion and drive to provide a high quality of teaching and therefore contribute to the overall success of the department.
