Summary
• The Role: To support a 35-year-old male individual to maintain their independence by supporting them in their day-to-day life to promote self-efficacy and to work on skills for the future. Those with mental health experience would be encouraged to apply.
Main Duties:
• To support and develop confidence to access the community and doing some gentle exercise.
• To support with developing a daily routine and build confidence with a range of skills (for example meal planning and preparation, home management, budgeting and managing finances)
• To support with and promote self-efficacy.
• To prompt him around and with self-care
Personal Qualities and Attributes required:
• Respectful of confidentiality and privacy
• Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy
• Respectful of dignity and independence
• Good communication skills and social skills
• Punctual, and flexible
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Understanding, adaptable and organised
You must be able to prove the right to work in the UK. No sponsorships are available.
Please note that the person undertaking this role may be requested to supply evidence of DBS clearance and/or references where appropriate.
Hours: 2 hours per week
Pay: £15.13 per hour
