When you see the world as we do, you see the chance to help the world take better care of its resources, and make it a better place for everyone.

Our internship puts you at the forefront of Ecological Transformation, protecting the planet while supporting your local Westminster community. You'll do this by creating innovative and exciting content - from reels to professional photographs,
you'll get real insights into the communications/campaign side of our business.

Although you'll have a structured programme with some specific deliverables, we're very open to ideas and encourage your creative flair.

What we offer you;

- Access to our company/people's pension scheme
- Discounts on everything from groceries to well-known retailers using Victoria BID card
- Access to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to
- Ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential

Internship Programme;

During this internship, we'll develop your practical and behavioural skills, supporting you to gain skills for life. For example, you'll learn:
- Communication skills (verbal and non-verbal) through interacting with staff from other teams, external organisations (e.g. local businesses and Westminster council) and residents
- Creative problem solving: we're constantly looking for innovative solutions. How do we get people recycling more? How can we measure social value in the community?
- Project and time management: on Veolia's biggest UK contract in the heart of London, we're always busy. You'll learn to organise your time, prioritise workload and meet deadlines - always with the help and support of your team.
- Business and sustainability knowledge: most organisations across the world are
responding to the Climate Emergency. By working with us, you'll gain unparalleled insight into the business strategies behind looking after our planet.

With many of our colleagues starting as interns, you'll receive full support and guidance from everyone throughout the entire internship. No question is a bad question - come to our open day, meet our friendly team and see for yourself!

The skills and experience you gain with us are fully transferable, making you a strong candidate for any future roles you want to apply to.

What you'll be doing;

- Create content for our social media platforms (Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook)

- Support at events with photography and filming
- Research relevant social media trends, keywords and hashtags
- Track, analyse and report social media performance
- Write copy (text) for digital packages and newsletters
- Research and draft press releases

What we're looking for;

- Good knowledge of social media trends and platforms including Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter

- Experience creating content for social media (even if this is for a personal account - we'd love to hear how you attract more likes and followers!)
- Knowledge of your local community
- An interest in sustainability would be a plus!
