Role Overview: As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) across various subjects and activities. Working closely with teachers and other support staff, you will provide one-on-one assistance, small group instruction, and classroom support to ensure that all students can fully engage with the curriculum and make progress academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with special needs, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.
- Assist students with accessing the curriculum, completing assignments, and participating in classroom activities.
- Implement strategies and interventions to address specific learning goals and objectives outlined in students' individual education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement tailored support strategies for students.
- Monitor and track students' progress, collect data, and provide feedback to the teaching team to inform instructional planning and decision-making.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of various special educational needs and disabilities, as well as strategies for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young people with special needs.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education, teaching assistance, or a related field (desirable but not essential).
