Summary

We are working closely with a school in the Erdington, Birmingham area who are currently looking for a year 2 SEND Teaching Assistant.

Location - Erdington, Birmingham

Salary - £83.33 - £96.72 Daily

Hours of work- Full time, 8:30am-3:30pm Temporary

Start Date - April 2024

End Date - July 2024, with the potential to extend into the new academic year

Job Description:
- Supporting the classroom Teacher in daily tasks and activities
- Preparing resources and the classroom
- Providing 1:1 support to a pupil with ASD
- Taking an interest in and supporting the wellbeing of students both physically and mentally
- Monitor pupil progress and identifying gap in learning
- Building trusting relationships with students and prioritising their social and emotional wellbeing.

We are looking for someone with previous experience SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) within a KS1 (Key stage one) setting. To apply you will need to be able to provide relevant references which can support your ability to work with children.
