By joining Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS) as the Property Lead you can be the difference between people just surviving and really living.

You will be part of Scotland’s leading charity providing support to people with chest, heart and stroke conditions to live life to the full again. Our Hospital to Home services form a nationwide network of local support groups, nurses, volunteers and one-to-one support teams helping families adjust to life with a heart or lung condition or after a stroke.

We are seeking an individual for a Property Lead for our retail estate and Charity Head Office. As the Property Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the management of our property portfolio. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient, safe and compliant operation of our charity shops and head office facilities, while also exploring opportunities for improvement.
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a proven track record in property management and a deep understanding of maintenance and facilities management. Your excellent negotiation skills will be essential as you liaise with landlords, property agents, and other stakeholders to ensure responsibility under the lease is taken for the condition of the estate.
To excel in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You should be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

CHSS also supports flexible recruitment through Working Families and we are “Happy to Talk Flexible Working”.

In line with our commitment to safeguarding, this role is subject to a Basic Disclosure check. CHSS is committed to equality of opportunity and to providing a service which is free from unfair and unlawful discrimination.
