Summary
This post is eligible for a Golden Hello payment of £2,750 for new starters who are external to the Trust. This is payable in 3 instalments over a 2 year period. This payment is only eligible to new starters who do not already hold a contract of employment with the Trust. This post also includes paid enhancements for unsocial hours working during night, weekends and bank holidays.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Senior Primary Care Nurse to work within our Primary Care Team at HMP Lowdham Grange providing acute, rehabilitative and primary care to offenders within a prison environment.
We have well-established and strong relationships with both the prison team and external partners who support us to deliver healthcare safely, effectively and efficiently.

• GP’s, Psychiatrists, Specialist Community Practitioners, Pharmacists, Mental Health & Substance Misuse Practitioners, Learning disability services, Psychologists and a multitude other allied professionals

The Offender Health Directorate is one of the largest and most successful providers of prison healthcare in the UK. The Directorate provide physical, mental health and substance misuse healthcare services in prisons across the East Midlands, Lincolnshire & Leicestershire.
The Directorate provides healthcare to 9 prisons. To work as part of the Healthcare Centre team leading in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient needs and appropriate care and treatment.
Ensure the implementation of the National Service Frameworks and ensure maintenance of high standards of care to the prison population.
To coordinate and lead the team as operational daily nurse in charge.
To provide leadership, support for and supervision of the team.
Maintain professional standards, ensuring adherence to all relevant policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
