Summary

Storesperson / Warehouse Operative

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: East Wight ( Isle of Wight)

Hours: 38 hours per week; 8am - 4pm, Monday - Thursday, 8am - 3pm Friday

Days: Monday - Friday

Duration: Permanent

Duties:

Taking incoming deliveries, unloading vehicles, checking items against delivery note and quality checks for damages/defects,
Operation of pallet trucks to move materials around site,
Locate and pick items, manual handling,
Assist in loading vehicles with outgoing goods,
Ensure cleanliness of warehouse and adherence to health and safety.

Experience:

Must have previous experience within a manufacturing environment, an understanding of health and safety and the ability to work to schedules,
Must be physically fit due to the nature of duties,
Must have at least a basic level of computer literacy,
Must be able to work well to instruction on, own initiative, as well as part of a team, with good communication skills.

Salary: £24-27,000 per annum dependent upon experience
