Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate ASW - Senior Social Worker to join our team in the Localities department. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive social work services to individuals and families in need. Responsibilities
Provide direct social work services to individuals and families, including assessment, counseling, and case management
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Conduct home visits to assess living conditions and monitor progress
Advocate for clients' rights and entitlements, ensuring access to appropriate services
Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans for individuals experiencing crisis situations
Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals and families in emergency situations
Facilitate support groups and educational workshops to promote personal growth and empowerment
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field
State licensure as a clinical social worker (ASW)
Minimum of [X] years of experience in social work, preferably in a localities setting
Sound knowledge of social work theories, practices, and ethical guidelines
Strong assessment and clinical skills, with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse populations
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively manage a caseload
Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other relevant software applications
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £26.50
