Job Title: Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic educational team in Blackburn. This position offers an opportunity to build a relationship with a pupil who has behavioural hurdles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding 1:1 support
- Assist teacher in delivering high-quality education to the pupil on a 1:1 basis
- Calm and collected nature
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and productive atmosphere.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with diverse student populations.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting the learning process.
