Summary

The salary for this permanent Occupational Therapist job is £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.
Main Duties:
• To assess the client’s housing needs and provide recommendations for suitable housing and equipment, fixtures and fittings.
• Assessing, recording and reviewing manual handling and leading manual handling training courses at the client’s home.
• Competent at documenting recording case notes and presenting your cases in a variety of ways at a number of different forums.
• To represent the company in conferences and events.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Registered with the Royal College of Occupational Therapy.
• Minimum of 3-5 years Occupational Therapist experience specialising in Housing and Manual
• Current driving licence and access to transport with business insurance (travel expenses will be paid per HMR&C guidelines) Core Competencies

• Creative Thinking and Flexibility- abilities to see beyond boundaries, come up with creative solution.
• Initiative and Decision Making - Can make autonomous decisions and take responsibility for them.
• Excellent communication.
• Influence - Can enlist the support and cooperation of others and encourage them to be proactive.
• Interpersonal Awareness- The ability to have and show empathy to others with good listening skills.
• Positive mind set – having a glass half full attitude.
• Good team work and ability to support other team members when needed.
• Ability to analyse procedures and processes to ensure good and smooth outcome for the client.
