Summary
Solo Service Group are recruiting a cleaning operative to join our team on a part time, permanent basis at Cambridgeshire Police training and Research Centre, Monkswood, Cambridgeshire. PE29 6NP.
We are looking for reliable and diligent individuals to join our team, we will provide all the necessary training, therefore we need you to bring the drive and commitment to support the collective success of the team.
30 Hours on a weekly basis
6 Hours on a daily basis, times can be flexible.
Monday - Friday
Site can be cleaned mornings/ evenings. Flexibility with shift pattern to suit candidate.
The site has to be cleaned in readiness for the working day at 8am.
Shifts can be completed early mornings or the night prior to the working day.
Please note cleaning cannot be undertaken during office hours.
3 hrs Saturday, 3 hrs Sunday. I.e 7.00am – 10am or 8.00am – 11am entirely your choice.
National Minimum Wage applies.
NB.Police vetting will be required for this role, which may take up to 8 weeks to clear.
Your main aim will be to carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins and cleaning wash/shower rooms.
You will also:
• Ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times
• Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly
• Deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously
To succeed in this role you will need:
• Good attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team
• To be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
• Cleaning experience is preferred but full training will be provided if necessary
