Summary
Child care setting manager/play worker. Experienced play worker capable of covering the day to day running of an established child care setting (breakfast club and after school club) in the absence of the current manager. The successful applicant will be an experienced play worker with at least a level 3 relevant qualification with some experience of working in an Ofsted registered setting. You will supervise staff, deal with enquiries, take bookings and payments ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. You will work with a team of play workers escorting children to and from local primary schools, organising and engaging in play activities and outings and supervising during snack times. We are based in a building which other groups use when we are not in so you will assist with the setting up and tidying away of all activities each session.
A current paediatric first aid qualification and food hygiene certificate would be an advantage.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 7.20 - 8.50 am (breakfast club) and 2.45 -5.45 pm (after school club) term time only.
