Our partner is a leading software development company in iGaming industry providing full turn-key solutions for game developers worldwide. They are currently seeking a proficient Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of their products. Successful candidate will belong to a large game engineering community, to build the future iGaming experience with product professionals.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in London and is open to some remote work. You will conduct thorough both manual and automated testing of the live casino games to identify and report defects, ensuring the games meet the highest quality standards. Collaborate closely with the Product team to understand requirements, test plans, and project timelines. This role will actively contribute to the development of test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts to guide comprehensive testing efforts. Document and track issues found during testing, utilising bug tracking tools and following established processes.
Job Description
• Develop and execute test plans to validate software functionality against requirements and specifications.
• Execute and assess both manual and automated test cases to identify bugs and regressions effectively.
• Report test results and defects to the development team and other stakeholders and work on their resolution
• Collaborate with project teams to estimate workload and configure testing environments as needed.
• Manage open issues efficiently and handle ad-hoc tasks promptly.
The Successful Applicant
• At least 1 year of experience in QA or software testing, preferably within the iGaming industry or a game studio environment.
• Experience working with live casino games or online gaming platforms is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with JIRA and TestRail is a beneficial asset.
• Strong knowledge of manual / automated testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues and provide constructive feedback.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Full professional proficiency in reading and writing Chinese language is required.
