Summary

Finance Assistant

Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Finance Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and contributing to the overall financial success of our organization. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and other team members to maintain financial records, process invoices, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities
Process and post financial transactions in the accounting system
Prepare and issue invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding payments
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciling financial statements and preparing journal entries
Support the Finance Manager with budgeting and forecasting activities
Prepare financial reports and analysis to help management make informed decisions
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of financial policies and procedures
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders regarding financial transactions and procedures
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Prior experience in a finance or accounting role preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements

Hours Per week: 35.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £11.44
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
