Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Social Worker, newly qualified at Grade 7, to join our dedicated team. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families facing a range of challenges and providing them with the necessary resources and support to improve their well-being. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified Social Worker to gain valuable hands-on experience and make a real difference in the lives of those in need.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals and families to determine their needs and develop appropriate care plans
Provide counseling and emotional support to individuals and families in crisis situations
Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare professionals and law enforcement, to coordinate services and resources
Advocate for clients' rights and ensure they are aware of available support services and benefits
Monitor and evaluate the progress of clients and modify care plans as necessary
Attend meetings and case conferences with colleagues and partner organizations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all client interactions and services provided
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field
Completion of a recognized social work program and registration with the relevant professional body
Strong knowledge of social work theory and practice, as well as relevant legislation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with external stakeholders
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and commitment to providing high-quality care
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
