Your new roleAs the Brand Manager for X brand, you will be responsible for leading and executing the brand's overall strategy to drive growth and enhance brand equity. With a strong background in wholesale or retail, you will oversee all aspects of brand management, including product development, marketing initiatives, retail operations, and wholesale distribution channels. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen understanding of luxury markets, consumer behaviour, and industry trends.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies aligned with the company's objectives and market positioning.
- Drive revenue growth through effective product assortment planning, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
- Identify new market opportunities and partnerships to expand the brand's reach and market share.
Product Development and Merchandising:
- Collaborate with product development teams to conceptualise and bring innovative and desirable products to market.
- Ensure product assortment reflects brand identity, market trends, and consumer preferences.
- Oversee merchandising strategies to optimise product presentation and maximise sales in retail environments.
Marketing and Brand Promotion:
- Lead the development of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.
- Manage advertising budgets effectively to achieve marketing objectives and ROI targets.
- Maintain brand consistency and integrity across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
Retail Operations Management:
- Provide strategic direction for retail operations, including store design, layout, and customer experience.
- Monitor retail performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and drive sales growth.
- Implement best practices in inventory management, pricing, and promotional strategies to optimise store profitability.
Wholesale Channel Development:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners, including department stores, specialty retailers, and distributors.
- Develop tailored sales strategies and programs to support wholesale accounts and drive sell-through.
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment on sales targets and objectives.
Brand Image and Positioning:
- Uphold and enhance the brand's prestige and reputation through consistent messaging and brand storytelling.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to refine brand positioning and messaging.
- Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and press engagements to raise brand awareness and visibility.
What you'll need to succeed
- 7+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or retail operations, preferably within the luxury or prestige segment.
- Strong understanding of wholesale and retail distribution channels, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and market share.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics tracking.
- Passion for luxury brands, fashion, and design, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Fluency in multiple languages may be advantageous, particularly in international markets.
