Summary
Title: Electrical Engineer / Prototype Wireman The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an Electromechanical Engineer/Wireperson to work at our client's busy manufacturing site in Fareham on a permanent basis.
Monday-Thursday (Full Time, 37 hours per week). Every Friday off.
Working 07:15-17:00 Monday-Thursday on an ongoing basis.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
Designing, testing and fault finding for a variety of electronic equipment. Wiring (some prototype), Soldering and Crimping. Producing and amending drawing packages using AutoCAD inventor. Modifying printed circuit boards. Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics. Carrying out mechanical assembly using hand and power tools. Requirements:
Strong attention to detail. Previous work in the aviation industry would be advantageous. Experienced in the use of AutoCAD inventor. IPC standard soldering. £30,000-£37,000 dependent on experience.
Immediate start preferable. Notice periods can be honoured.
Working for a well established military lighting company.
