Key Responsibilities of Spanish Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons that cater to students' diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to make language learning interactive and enjoyable.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and express themselves in Spanish.
  • As a Spanish Teacher, you must be able to provide regular feedback and support to students to help them progress in their language learning journey.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and initiatives that integrate Spanish language and culture into various subject areas.

Requirements of Spanish Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Spanish.
  • Proven experience teaching Spanish at the KS3/KS4 level.
  • Strong knowledge of the Spanish language, culture, and literature.
  • Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for languages.
  • As a Spanish Teacher, you need to have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
