Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 5 Anaesthetic Nurse/ODP with a recognised anaesthetic qualification and current experience to join our team.

Jubilee is a day surgery ophthalmology unit doing a wide variety of different surgeries under local and general anaesthetic on adults and children. You will need to be patient centred, reliable, keen to learn all aspects of work in Jubilee and you must be a good team member.

If you have not had ophthalmology experience before but can work in the anaesthetic room and scrub it will be a pleasure to teach you the nuances of the speciality. In time your role will involve pre-assessment, ward work, anaesthetics, theatre and recovery so a lovely variety of work.

The core hours are 08:00 - 18:00 but there are opportunities to undertake work at the weekend if you choose to do so. Please do come and meet the team and have a look around the department if you are considering applying for the role.
