Reed Industrial are hiring in Aldershot!
We have partnered with an industry-leading, global metal waste and recycling company and are excited to share an opportunity to recruit an ELV Operative to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
About the role
You will be responsible for carrying out necessary activities to ensure the safe de-pollution of vehicles which are sent to the site for disposal.
- Assist with scheduling inbound and outbound transport
- Unload and store vehicles in a safe manner
- Removal of wheels, tyres and batteries prior to de-pollution activities
- Maintain the de-pollution rig according to maintenance schedule
- Ensure rig, tools and surrounding area are clean and tidy at all times
- Liaise with customers, drivers and contractors onsite
- Ensure vehicle details are accurately recorded throughout de=pollution activities.
What are we looking for?
- Strong organisational skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Current/previous FLT licence would be advantageous
- Experience in the heavy industry would be ideal
