This post, within the Leeds Centre for Dermatology, principally based at Chapel Allerton Hospital, offers the successful candidate the opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative skin cancer team as well as the opportunity to develop a stimulating combination of clinical, teaching and research work in the field of cutaneous oncology. Leeds is a world recognised centre for the management of skin cancer and offers all the skin cancer treatment modalities locally. The unit hosts the Regional Specialist MDT for Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer, Melanoma and Cutaneous Lymphoma. There are also close working relationships with the Head and Neck MDT and the Sarcoma MDT. The post holder will be a member of the Local Skin Cancer MDT and Regional Specialist Non Melanoma Skin Cancer MDT and will be involved in the management of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer (there is a separate Melanoma MDT for melanoma Stage 1b). The Skin Cancer Team includes Dermatologists, Mohs Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, Clinical Oncologists, Dermatopathologists, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Nurse Practitioners and an MDT Coordinator.
