Summary

The Head Chef will be entrusted with the pivotal role of overseeing all facets of food preparation and presentation to maintain the restaurant's esteemed standards of quality. This encompasses providing expert guidance to fellow chefs and junior kitchen staff, implementing a meticulous first-in, first-out food rotation system, and ensuring well-stocked cooking stations, particularly during peak service hours. Additionally, the Thai Chef will actively engage in recipe innovation, offering insightful recommendations for the integration of new ingredients, determining optimal food ordering quantities, and ensuring a consistent supply of necessary provisions. Responsibilities extend to upholding stringent adherence to health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment and maintaining impeccable standards for all sourced ingredients. Moreover, it is highly recommended for establishments offering Thai cuisine to seek out Thai chefs, either locally in the UK or from Thailand, whose proficiency in preserving authentic Thai flavours and commitment to traditional culinary practices elevate the dining experience.

Qualifications for aspiring Thai chefs include:
