Salary - £25,019 per annum pro rata

Part-time - 10 hours per week

In the community - based in Newton Abbot, The Change Academy

Fixed-term contract until 31/03/2025 (Maternity Cover)


Are you a creative Youth Worker with a passion for exploring thinking and behaviour?

Are you passionate about actively engaging and building quality relationships with young people?

This is a great chance to be part of a well-established team of Young Devon staff in The Change Academy, whilst developing our targeted work exploring healthy relationships and harmful sexual behaviours with young people. You’ll be responsible for delivering proactive, engaging and high-quality Youth Work in the community, as well as targeted group work and 1:1s. You will get to know young people and work with them to provide opportunities to explore views and attitudes, reduce harmful sexual behaviours and experience healthy relationships.

We are looking for someone who has experience of inspiring young people to explore their thinking and behaviour within relationships with others, has some knowledge of using a shame competent, trauma informed approach to sex and relationship education.
