Then our exciting new role of Wiltshire Fundraising Manager could be just what you are looking for.

We are passionate about finding the right person for the role and will offer training if needed.

You will be responsible for your own area, reporting to our Head of Fundraising, and working alongside our small team of Devon Fundraising Manager and our Senior Trusts and Grants Fundraiser, leading on and developing fundraising activities and a supporter base across Wiltshire.

This role will include building relationships with corporates, key community groups and running our third-party events alongside and a small portfolio of own events. You may have experience in fundraising, marketing, sales, business development and some experience in events planning. The role will include elements of public speaking and travel across the county so access to your own vehicle is essential.

Every year, FearFree supports over 3,500 adults and children in Wiltshire who have experienced domestic abuse, sexual violence, stalking and harassment. Our aim is to break the cycle of abuse and we help people rebuild their lives free from fear and abuse, not just until the next time but permanently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the income for the charity through fundraising (corporate, community, and some events.)
• Research, plan and implement new fundraising initiatives – guided by the fundraising strategy and your own experience.
• Recruit fundraisers and identify and manage all third-party events in Wiltshire.
• Build new relationships and maintain existing relationships with the wider Wiltshire community.
• Network and engage with corporate donors and encourage new donors to support and participate in fundraising activities/events.
• Attend and manage stalls at community events.
• Recruit and manage volunteer fundraisers.
• Deliver community talks and corporate Lunch and Learns at networking opportunities.
• Plan, organise and deliver fundraising events across Wiltshire.
• Manage and grow the income from collection pots and buckets through promotion of these in the community.
• There will be an element of evening and weekend work as well as travel across Wiltshire. Full driving licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle is essential.
